How It All Started

It all started with an amplifier I used to own — a truly exceptional one. I eventually had to part with it, and I regretted that decision for a long time. But after more than 30 years in electronics and a strong background in design, I figured:
why not build one myself?

I wanted something just as good, just as beautiful, and just as sophisticated. When I finished it and shared it with a few friends, they wanted one too. Then word spread to their friends.

That's how TMP Audio was born — and how our journey began.

The Classic Line


Our first products were the Classic, followed by the Triton series, which evolved from the original circuit design.

Special requests led to the creation of the Ant and others. What started as a personal project quickly turned into a passionate venture — and that passion continues to shape everything we do.

Eventually, the Ant product family expanded to include a Phono, DAC and an Integrated amplifier with an external PSU, broadening its appeal and versatility.

We design our electronics to deliver sound that's both exciting and effortless to listen to, even over long listening sessions.

This balance gives our amplifiers their distinctive character — fast and tight, yet emotionally engaging and always a pleasure to listen to.

With each new generation, our enclosures have evolved — cleaner lines, bolder identity, and modern elegance that reflect the sonic integrity within.

Our circuits become more refined, too — stripped of everything unnecessary, focused on purity and performance. We continually pursue minimal or even zero negative feedback to preserve the natural flow and energy of the music.

This is where our vision of Highest Fidelity becomes reality: a sound that's more revealing, more emotional, and unmistakably TMP.
